I am just going to ask what will sound or seem like a very judgmental question...
In some of your other posts, there was an idea which I took as suggesting that your family or even your own perpetrators are viewing or reading this blog.
Now I know you've said in between that you will continue to talk, and I believe you monitor your comments because of it as well; but at the same time I am not really sure it's entirely possible to stop them from seeing it, once they know it exists.
That being said, alongside whether or not you want them to see it being another story; I just wonder a bit why you posted this 'provocative' photograph... with the above being in consideration?
At first glance, I thought that perhaps you are trying to re-claim your body, your sexuality; and you are trying to just be able to be comfortable being you, or showing your legs etc.... without having to feel like people are preying on you, or as if you are in danger.
Maybe you view this blog as a safe place to do that; but if that is true, as someone who is concerned for you, I disagree; especially since you have suggested in the past that your family or perpetrators may read this.
I mean, do you want them seeing this kind of photograph of you?
I am not sure what you think of that.
I understand the need to reclaim yourself, and your sexuality as your own; but the issue stands that others can see this photograph, others who may also be your own perpetrators.
I just hope that this doesn't cause you pain later.
Gosh I know what I wrote is heavily judgmental, but something just doesn't add up, that's all.
But at the same time, sometimes you just post pictures, with no explanations.
I know that you have a few friends and fellow survivors who reach out to you, and talk to you through your blog.
I know that sometimes the things you post are for them, or relate to them, or are communicating to them.
But other times, I am not sure if the posts are for yourself.
Or if you post for others completely either?
I say that, because if this blog is just for you, then I guess it's really none of my business what you are posting. But this blog is public, and it seems you are aware of the viewers you now have.
