Today I was listening...

...to a great recording of this violin concerto and it was so so good that it almost made me laugh. This is a good version too. I know it is really famous and well known, but I thought I would share it anyway- a little candy for the ears. ;-)

Standing at the window after having been drawing I was eating a carrot and my mind was reeling and suddenly came to an abrupt stop. I thought, "The hardest part of having multiple personality disorder is..." And then with hardly any pause at all I thought, "Realizing neither of my parents ever really loved me at all."

Oh... It was SOOOOO good.

Today Stefano and I drove to Urbino and went to the Palazzo Ducale. It was GREAT. I was loving everything and then I walked into the next room and saw THIS. I have only seen it in photographs in every book on the history of art and about a thousand times. Oh... It was SOOOOO good. So was THIS and THIS and that is just to name a few!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 minute mohawk.

This morning I shaved Stefano's head. I gave him a mohawk just long enough so I could take a picture. Lloyd thinks we are silly and embarrassing. I will try to post a new drawing tomorrow or the next day.

About to go to the sea.

Sorry for the lack of posts... It was a busy first week here and today has been the first day Stefano has not worked so we have been shuffling around together all day. :-) Right now it is 7:15pm here and we are about to go and swim in the sea for the first time together. Then we will cook dinner together and then take Apple out for an evening walk. It has been incredibly hot here all week and today it is finally cooler but still warm. Stefano and I have never gone swimming together so I am excited about getting in the sea with him.
I have been working on learning Italian and it is going ok. I get annoyed with myself because I have to ask Stefano to repeat the same words over and over but I guess that is just the way it goes.

As you can see from the photos Lloyd and Winston are fine. I am too and REALLY REALLY happy to be here with my Stefano. I have been busy trying to clean up our new apartment and organize my things. Yesterday I started drawing. I will post images soon and I will write more too as soon as I can.

Lloyd and Winston and I all made it safely to Italy. We are all fine and very happy to be here with Stefano. I will write more tomorrow and post the first photos of Lloyd and Winston in their new country. Stefano sent me this email on Friday; when I was already over the ocean and on my way here with L & W. This is the first time I have checked my email since I left the US so I just got it. I thought I would post it because it is so sweet and because I am so happy to finally be here with my greatest love Stefano.

Hi, my greatest love. I love you like crazy.

You will not read this email before you are here on Sunday night. I just want to tell you how much I love you. It seems like a dream coming true, my little wife. You are coming to me and we are going to live together. Everything we were dreaming for 2 years is becoming real and I am more than happy. I am waiting for you, my little Jenny C. And me and my little Apple are waiting for Lloyd and Winston too. The family is is finally coming together.

Everything works out.

My flight with Lufthansa was canceled Wednesday night and then yesterday morning I had no ticket for any flight. I finally was able to get a seat on an Air France flight that leaves tonight for Paris and we will switch planes and then fly on to Rome. Stefano will meet us there (See you in just 29 hours my amore!!!!!) and we will go to a hotel that is near the airport and stay there for the night so Lloyd and Winston can stretch their little legs and tell me how mad they are. On Sunday we will take the train to our new home. :-)
I probably will not be able to update my blog again until either this coming Sunday night or Monday morning. See you from the other side of the ocean!!! :-)
